• Expert*in (m/w/d) mit dem Schwerpunkt HPC für Erdsystemwissenschaften
• Expert*in (m/w/d) für HPC-Anwendungen in den Lebenswissenschaften
• Expert*in (m/w/d) für wissenschaftliche Anwendungen aus dem Bereich Digital Humanities
• Datenwissenschaftler*in (m/w/d) mit Schwerpunkt High-Performance Data Analytics

The GWDG is looking for an administrative employee (m/f/d) to support the working group “Administration and Cross-Sectional Tasks” (AG V) in administrative activities for the area of National High Performance Computing.

Working together with the Vaccination Centre of the City of Göttingen, the University is now offering a service to all interested employees and students who wish to be vaccinated against the coronavirus. This is offered in parallel with the opportunity to get a vaccination from a general practitioner or the Vaccination Centre of the City of Göttingen. The vaccinations will be carried out in a specially set up vaccination station in the Mensa am Turm by a mobile vaccination team from the City’s Vaccination Centre. The GWDG Academy course program for the second half of 2021 has now been published. Due to the current Corona situation, almost all courses will take place in a suitable online format rather than as presence courses, as has been the case in previous months. You can find more information about this at the respective courses. You can still register for our courses as usual. All registered participants will receive the necessary technical information for taking part in the respective courses in good time after the registration deadline.

The GWDG starts the test phase of its new live-streaming platform which can be used e.g. to broadcast lectures, conferences or other live-events to large audience. This service offers an alternative to video conferencing for particularly large event.
